We’ll all be watching City on a Tuesday night as Champions League football returns to the Etihad Stadium with the arrival of free scoring Monaco.

After a two-month hiatus European nights are back and with a place in the Quarter Finals at stake, we’re calling on Manchester City supporters to wear their colours with pride to make it a Blue Tuesday in East Manchester.

The unforgettable moments from our history attest to the difference you, the fans, can make and on Tuesday evening we want the Etihad to be awash with blue as we get behind Pep Guardiola and the team.

Be it this season’s home shirt, the scarf your granny knitted from way back, or a classic kit from the 90s – if it’s blue, we want to see it in the stands against Monaco.

And if you’re struggling for blue attire, then fear not - the CityStore is here to help!

Head to mancity.com/shop or the CityStores* at the Etihad Stadium or Market Street to get your hands on our 2016/17 home kit, which is currently on sale at 40% off.

In the spirit of ensuring Tuesday night is swathed in Blue, we’ve got some familiar faces to help us out, all of whom know the pride we have for the sky blue shirt.

Top of the bill in City Square are two ex-Blues who are well aware of the difference the home crowd can make.

Antoine Sibierski is in town and having plied his trade in Ligue 1 for more than a decade, he’ll be sharing his knowledge on both City and the visitors. Fan favourite – he won four player of the year awards – and former skipper Richard Dunne will also join us for a pre-recorded interview to preview the game.

Meanwhile, with 75 league goals to their name, Monaco are certainly sharp-shooters but we’ll have an ace marksman of our own on stage.

More at home at the oche than in the penalty area, professional dart player and big blue Alan ‘Chuck’ Norris will be showing off his skills in our bullseye game, with commentary from an equally passionate City fan in John Gwynne.

Over at the aptly named Blue Carpet we’ll be unveiling a brand new addition at our players’ entrance with a raised walkway and light show. It’s not to be missed so make sure you’re there for the big reveal to give the lads a welcome pre-match boost! And of course we’ll have lots of exclusive giveaways so make sure you don’t miss out.

There’ll also be a quartet of men with blue running through their veins as we interview City legends Tony Book and Bernard Halford, while Richard Edghill and Andy Morrison will also be making an appearance.

So, there’ll be plenty of blue on display pre-match and now it’s over to you to make it a Blue Tuesday at the Etihad.

Wear your colours with pride! See you on Tuesday night!
